Hospital bag

Pack early, that’s my motto. I’ve seen many mums leave it to the last minute and arrive with a few things in a plastic bag. Below is a general list…add what you feel you may need. Enjoy!!

• Health insurance / Medicare cards
• Small amount of cash
• Lots and lots of undies and make sure they are black
• Warm socks
• Maternity bras
• Black leggings / comfy pants
• Slippers/shoes
• Breast pads
• Maternity pads
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Hair dryer
• Hairbrush
• Deodorant
• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Lip balm
• Phone charger

For the baby

• 10 large wraps
• 10 grow suits / onesies
• 10 singlets
• A hat for the baby
• Check if the hospital provides nappies and wipes
• Ensure a capsule foe the baby is fitted (and you know how to use it)

For your partner

• Some snacks
• Change of clothes
• Toothpaste/toothbrush
• Mobile phone and charger
• Change for parking
• Camera, charger
• Video camera and charger
